Winter 2026
Development Program
Our progressive development program is meticulously designed to nurture skill development week by week, catering to players of all levels. Tailored for hockey and ringette athletes, this program promotes continuous growth and mastery of the game, equipping participants to excel both on and off the ice.
Note: Winter sessions will begin the week of January 12, 2026. There will be no sessions from February 16 to 20, 2026.

Novice U7/U9
Focus on developing power-skating techniques: stride, balance, edgework and skating with a puck/ring. Jan 12 to Mar 11 Omit: Feb 16 & 18 Mon/Wed, 4:15–5 p.m. Strathcona Olympiette Centre $450 (8 weeks/16 sessions) Intermediate U11/U13 This program further develops power skating techniques, including proper stride, balance, edgework, puck control and shooting, with a special focus on building a strong foundation for backward skating. Enhance forward and backward skating, edgework, and puck/ring handling. Focus on passing, shooting, quick starts and improving foot speed. Fridays
Beginner U5/U7
Concentrate on developing basic individual power skating skills, including proper stride, balance, edgework and overall skating techniques. Participants must be able to skate independently without assistance.
